sound-machine, but the songs are incredibly inspirational and live-wire
in this age of dour cynical goth rock/hip-hop decadence. You rock
the room Moog and the sounds that I missed before shouldn't be forgotten
in the next generation. Keep writing the fire into the next millennium
'cause the airwaves need it, and so does my soul!!!! The Gaslight has another
light that burns twice as bright, and that light is Moogy and the Mojos.

...I'd like to recommend to anyone in the NYC area that you catch Moogy either this coming sunday or the following...it was really an enjoyable evening...he puts on a great show, his own music and band are great, and hearing some old TR/Utopia tunes was a thrill too...wow, Utopia Theme live, never thought I'd get to hear that...(babe backup singer too boys, but I preferred the biker dudes who sat in for one song...)enjoy the rest of the week, ~ Lia ...city in my he-ad, uuuuuttttttooooppppiiiiiaaaa. they actually played it. can you believe it? it was pretty damn good, too. moogy was apologizing beforehand that they might not play it too well, but they were dead on. of course, moogy's stuff was to be expected, but the interaction with his guitarist was definitely reminiscent of an earlier time. moogy opened with the old classic spoonful. really nice. i'm not a musician, so i can't say for sure what it is, but moogy has a recognizable style that really flows. to me the best example of it is his stuff on back to the bars. anyway, moogy's voice has developed a rough edge as he's gotten older, and it gives him a good blues voice. spoonful rocked, but moogy's piano style was evident from the start. they played a lot of moogy's stuff from the cd's, a lot of covers, beautiful version of dust in the wind. even his birthday cake was great. if you get a chance, try to get by and see a show before moogy leaves. this was way too cool. ~ Roger D.
